This is a picture of the day lillies at our house. They grow wild and you see them along the road and other places this time of year. There is a small field of them below our house and I just love to look at them!
I remember the day lilies when we were out ther last. They sure are beautiful. They definitely do no grow naturally out here. I was amazed at how naturalized they were. I am glad you appreciate them as much as I do.
I really like them, too. I look forward to seeing them bloom every year. I'm going to try to guard what's left of them here at our house. I think Adrian is out to get them! :) He dug up some for our garden spot a few years ago and then put the chicken pens on top of a bunch more of them and the chickens ate them!

They are one of my favorite flowers. I like all lilies, but the orange day lilies always remind me of home.
