Grilling Anyone?
Does anyone have a great grilling recipe they like to use? I love to cook out (grill) in the summer and fall, especially, and wondered if anyone wanted to suggest something they like to do on the grill. We grill a lot of the typical foods, hot dogs, hamburgers, chicken, and occasionally steak, and it's pretty standard just-put-it-on-the-grill-and-cook-it style. I'm not really looking for anything fancy, maybe just a fresh idea. I saw a recipe online this morning for hoisin-honey-glazed pork with grilled pineapple that I think I could adapt and use...might be something different and tasty. Sometimes just a different sauce is fun to try, like with chicken to use not only barbecue, but also do some with lemon pepper or terriyaki. So, if you have any good ideas, feel free to share!

And grilled foods taste better if you stop cooking before all the molecules have been converted into carbon.
I see someone doesn't share my love of well-done foods! :)
I tried the tenderloin on the grill tonight and just marinated it a little ahead of time in a mixture of hoisin sauce, honey, and ginger. It was really good! I got some fresh yellow squash and zuchinni from Betty Gray and I used some of it tonight on the grill, too. I sliced it up and put it in foil with butter, salt, pepper, and garlic powder and put the foil packets on the grill (actually Adrian did the grilling). It was tasty, too. So a successful dinner was had by all!
I liked the pork on the grill so well that I want to try it again with a different flavoring. I found a recipe with the marinade made of honey, dijon mustard, chili power, and salt. Sounds like it might be sweet and spicy and good!
Anyone have a recipe for raccoon?
hmmm, i like hotdogs on the grill :)
