Blue Ridge Parkway - Years Ago

I've been scanning in some old pictures. Here is one of the kids that we made on a spring day on the Blue Ridge Parkway several years ago when we were on a family outing and picnic.

Adrian, Adam, and Logan got to spend a week in New Mexico, hiking in the Gila wilderness area. Here is the group that made the trek. 

Fireworks and Fun

We have enjoyed some good summer fun with cookouts, get-togethers, picnics, fireworks, and just being together. Adam and Logan are on the roof of our mini-van watching Fourth of July fireworks. 

Birthdays

We've had a lot of fun celebrating June birthdays! Logan turned 14 and Adam 18! 

BaBa's Sweet Three

I like being called Grammy, but I also like what Ian started calling me, BaBa. Here are my three sweet little grandchildren, Elise, Ian, and Merry Grace. They look so cute in their blue and pink striped pajamas, sitting on Grandma DD's back porch one evening this summer.

Summer of 1938

This is a picture of a gathering of many of the Hiatt relatives in this area in 1938. I don't know the occasion. Carolyn Gentry has been trying to identify all the people that she can in this photo. Mama was able to tell her who some of them were. Mama/Grandma Delia is the pretty girl on the front row, left side. Actually I think she is the prettiest one in the whole picture! 

It was fun to have Kristen and kids come for a visit on Thurs. and Fri. Here is Merry Grace being her usual cute self!

Kristen came up for a quick visit this week and we started some early celebrations for Father's Day, Adam's birthday, and Logan's birthday. We also celebrated graduations, weclome home from NM, and Potato Day!

Logan is a good sleeper as he slept right through Eight Ball and Milo tumbling around on his bed one morning recently.

This is one of my all-time favorite pictures of Logan! I've been going through some old pictures and scanning them in. I love the way Logan is folding his arms - that was the way he did it - and he has the cutest look on his face! I love it! My baby Logan!
