Thanksgiving
We had a nice Thanksgiving holiday. Kristen, Cory, and family came in on Wednesday night. Adam had a friend over on Wednesday, too, so we had a house full. On Thursday we went over to Grandma Jarrell's house (Adrian, Sherita, Adam, Logan, Kristen, Cory, Elise, Ian, and Grandma Delia) for dinner. Kristen and I fixed broccoli casserole, garlic green beans, cheesy potatoes, and Kristen fixed hot corn and a couple of pumpkin pies, while Adrian provided the bread and Grandma Delia had made her famous sweet potato casserole. Adrian's sister Trula and husband, Bill were there from Georgia and Adrian's other sister Verna from Chapel Hill. They did turkey, potatoes, gravy, desserts, etc. and we had a nice meal together and visited around the table. Some of also took a walk down to the river. I remember another Thanksgiving when Adrian's brother Maury came in from Texas and we all went to the river and Adrain and Maury told stories about growing up by the river and all the fun they had. We missed Ethan at Thanksgiving, but he had a nice time going to Beth's sister's house in Salt Lake. He's actually had some snow out there and I'm jealous! Wish we could get a little snow out here before too long! We look forward to having Ethan and everyone home for Christmas! That's going to be a lot of fun!

I am glad you guys had such a nice holiday. Sounds like Ethan really likes Beth to spend Thanksgiving with her. I will have to see if we can make contact with him before he comes home for Christmas. I have a gift for Grandma that would fare much better with him than an envelope. Anyway, I hope you have a safe holiday season!
Love the Peck's
ps, what is the sweet potato casserole recipe?
I think Kristen uses the same recipe. It's really good, with a nut topping. I'm sure Grandma would love to give it to you if you want to drop her a quick e-mail. She checks the blogs sometimes, but not sure how regularly, so an e-mail request might work better.
Hope you guys had a great Thanksgiving, too. And let Ethan know if you need to send something with him.
